UN Women Australia have some great information about the history of the day, and it’s continued importance for a brighter future:
- “IWD has become a time to reflect on progress, to call for change and to celebrate the courage and determination of the women who changed history, and those who will advance gender equality into the future…
- Research has continually demonstrated that gender-diverse companies perform better across a range of indicators – market value, innovation, productivity, talent acquisition and retention, culture and reputation.”
